Senior Fund Services Business Analyst

About the role

OneVue, an ASX-listed financial services company and the largest outsourced fund administration company in Australia, is looking for a Senior Fund Services Business Analyst to join its Melbourne team following an internal promotion. The role covers business analyst tasks such as writing business requirements, defining test strategy and scenarios, performing functional and post-release testing, and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Translate technical requirements into business requirements and vice versa
• Write business requirements and define test strategy and scenarios
• Perform functional testing and post-release testing
• Carry out production support-related tasks

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in a registry and fund services business, outsourced service provider or system integrator
• At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience
• Understanding of Fund Managers and Custodians' expectations and needs
• Tertiary qualification in Business or IT, or equivalent business experience
• Experience managing production issues and checking production systems

Required skills

• Full SDLC experience
• Strong Business Analyst skills
• Proven use of a wide range of IT tools to solve problems and improve processes
• Microsoft SQL Server skills for data analysis and troubleshooting are highly regarded
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and quality orientation
