Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant reports to the Financial Controller – ANZ and works with the Finance leadership team to deliver monthly financial reports, end‑of‑month accounting, and continuous process improvements. The role supports statutory compliance, prepares financial statements, and collaborates with offshore resources to resolve exceptions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain accounting records, support budgeting and reporting activities, and improve accounting processes.
• Collaborate with offshore teams, manage workflow automation, and drive efficiency across the finance function.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Formal accounting qualification (tertiary degree) and CA/CPA or equivalent.
• Experience with taxation areas such as FBT, Income Tax, GST and Payroll Tax.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting packages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
