Manager – Corporate Tax – Private Clients

About the role

As a Manager in EY's Private Tax team, you will lead a portfolio of sophisticated private clients, including privately owned corporate groups, high‑net‑worth families and entrepreneurial start‑ups. This strategic leadership position involves deepening client relationships, delivering complex advisory outcomes and supporting practice growth across domestic and international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of complex private clients such as privately owned corporate groups, trusts and high‑net‑worth families.
• Provide strategic oversight of tax compliance, reporting, planning and advisory engagements across diverse entity structures.
• Partner with senior tax leaders to deliver tailored advice on restructures, cross‑border transactions, capital gains tax, Division 7A, trust structuring and broader private‑wealth issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in tax consulting for private/middle‑market clients, preferably from a top‑tier or second‑tier accounting or legal firm.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams, developing talent and fostering an inclusive culture.

Required skills

• Deep technical expertise in corporate group tax, trusts, private wealth and individual tax matters.
• Knowledge of Division 7A, trust structuring, capital gains tax and cross‑border transaction tax implications.
