Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

ARRCS is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting across its Aged Care and Support at Home programs. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive base salary of $110,000‑$120,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end financial statements for 12 aged‑care facilities, the Support at Home program and corporate services.
• Ensure compliance with aged‑care funding frameworks, legislative requirements and Australian accounting standards.
• Manage statutory and ATO reporting, reconciliations and BAS statements.
• Validate AN‑ACC revenue and allocate government‑mandated costs.
• Support audit processes and safeguard the organisation’s financial stability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant working with Australian accounting practices.
• CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non‑financial senior staff.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
