Senior Design Researcher – Business & Private Banking

About the role

As a Senior Design Researcher in the Business & Private Banking unit, you will lead end‑to‑end research to build a deep understanding of customer needs across digital channels. You will work autonomously to shape evidence‑led decisions for complex products, services and journeys, ensuring research informs strategy, architecture and design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full research cycle from scoping, method selection, analysis to presentation for experience designers and product owners.
• Integrate existing research, analytics and insights to identify gaps and set research priorities.
• Conduct both generative and evaluative qualitative and quantitative studies across web, mobile and ETB platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads, providing guidance on research planning, execution and synthesis.
• Translate findings into clear opportunities, recommendations and risk‑reduced delivery plans.
• Coach junior researchers and contribute to the development of the Design Research practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering design research in agile environments, including stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards for web and mobile.
• Knowledge of digital product ecosystems, including web (HTML/JS frameworks) and mobile (iOS/Android).
• Ability to work independently while embedding within cross‑functional teams.
