Digital Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Digital Product Designer to join our team at Marsh, working on Mercer's digital platforms. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on experience design and UI work across apps, member portal, adviser portal and public website.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs supporting the rebrand and digital asset refresh.
• Contribute to design systems, component libraries and reusable patterns.
• Translate business needs, stakeholder input and customer requirements into accessible design solutions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, content and technology teams in a stakeholder‑heavy environment.
• Support user research, usability testing and journey mapping to improve digital experiences.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in UI and experience design, working hands‑on across design tools and digital assets.
• Experience leading design work for complex digital products or enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder feedback and contribute to collaborative design processes.
