Digital Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Digital Product Designer to join our team at Marsh, working on Mercer’s digital platforms. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on experience and UI design across apps, member portal, adviser portal and public website.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs supporting the rebrand and digital asset refresh.
• Contribute to design systems, component libraries and reusable patterns.
• Translate business needs, stakeholder input and customer requirements into accessible design solutions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, content and technology teams in a stakeholder‑heavy environment.
• Support user research, usability testing and journey mapping to improve digital experiences.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in UI and experience design, working hands‑on across design tools and digital assets.
• Experience leading design work for complex digital products or enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder feedback and contribute to collaborative design processes.
