Senior Business Development Specialist (Mandarin Speaking)

About the role

HungryPanda is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist fluent in Mandarin to expand its network of Chinese and Asian catering merchants. You will lead end‑to‑end merchant negotiations, drive growth, and ensure long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, industry analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify high‑potential catering merchants.
• Lead full‑cycle B2B negotiations, sign high‑value contracts, and manage merchant onboarding, training and platform integration.
• Visit key merchants regularly, diagnose operational pain points and design customized growth plans.
• Manage daily merchant operations, resolve order issues, and proactively mitigate risks.
• Use data‑driven insights to launch incentive programmes and optimise merchant GMV, order volume and platform market share.
• Own core KPIs and lead small teams to achieve quarterly and annual merchant development targets.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B business development or sales experience, preferably in internet food‑delivery or local‑life services.
• Proven track record of meeting individual or team KPIs and delivering project outcomes.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with the ability to handle complex merchant scenarios.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, data‑driven mindset with solid analytical capabilities.
• Resilient under pressure, adaptable to fast‑paced internet business environments.
