Senior Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its Institutional Markets team. You will support the manager of regulatory reporting and ensure the bank’s OTC derivatives reporting meets ASIC, CFTC, G20, MiFID, Korea and other global requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of OTC derivatives reporting to global regulators.
• Investigate issues, perform root‑cause analysis and communicate business impacts to regulatory reporting management and compliance.
• Produce detailed business requirements for internal technology teams or external vendors.
• Manage remediation projects, including pre‑ and post‑implementation testing, trade replay and sign‑off.
• Engage with Front/Middle Office, Compliance and Technology stakeholders to identify and resolve reporting gaps.
• Contribute analysis to MIS reporting streams and recommend operational or technical improvements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in OTC derivatives regulatory reporting (ASIC, CFTC, G20, MiFID, Korea).
• Strong understanding of non‑financial risk frameworks and their application.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Track record of delivering remediation solutions and enhancing reporting controls.
