Senior Banking Consultant – Retail Banking

About the role

As a Senior Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Midland branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide conversations based on customers’ goals, and promote digital solutions alongside traditional products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, handling a full range of banking transactions.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations to recommend appropriate financial products.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and encourage adoption.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, supporting team members to achieve service excellence.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies and meet branch operating hours, including occasional Saturday shifts.

Required profile

• Proven experience building strong customer relationships in a service‑focused environment.
• Significant background in financial services, preferably retail banking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Comfort with technology and ability to promote digital tools.
• Adaptability to multitask in a changing environment.
