Senior 12d Designer – Land & Urban Development

About the role

Join a nationally recognised engineering consultancy in Western Sydney as a Senior 12d Designer. You will lead major land and urban development projects, working within a collaborative, technically strong team and benefiting from clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technically challenging civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Design residential land developments, urban precincts, industrial subdivisions, roads, intersections, stormwater and drainage systems.
• Mentor and support junior designers, fostering knowledge transfer and best practice.
• Contribute to major developments across Western Sydney and beyond.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of experience using 12d within an Australian engineering consultancy.
• Strong background in land and urban development projects.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively with engineers, designers and clients.
• Excellent understanding of Australian civil design standards and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 12d software.
• Experience with MUSIC and DRAINS (preferred but not essential).
• Knowledge of Australian civil design standards.
