Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, in the historic Rocks district, is hiring a Restaurant Manager reporting to the Director of Outlets. The role balances day-to-day leadership of the operation and service periods with team development, problem solving and business results from people, product and profit perspectives. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in high-quality restaurants and a passion for memorable dining.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong operational presence across all meal periods so service standards and the guest experience stay optimal
• Lead, develop, coach and give constructive feedback to the team
• Cultivate a supportive team culture aligned with restaurant goals
• Set metrics and benchmarks, identify improvements and follow industry trends
• Take part in talent acquisition, including selection and retention
• Build strong relationships with other hotel departments
• Manage labour and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, menu engineering, purchasing and stock control

Required profile

• 3 years in a restaurant leadership role in a 5-star hotel or leading restaurant, with a focus on quality at high volume
• Authentic, engaging and strategic leadership style based on business priorities
• Positive, resilient attitude with strong communication skills
• Strong understanding of luxury, attention to detail and high focus on service
• Collaborative approach with all hotel departments
• Right to work in Australia
