Reliever Hospital Pharmacist (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

This full‑time, maximum‑term position (until June 2027) offers a unique opportunity to work across the Slade Pharmacy network in South Australia, covering multiple hospital sites. You will provide patient‑focused pharmacy care while gaining experience in operational, clinical and specialty pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation for in‑patients, day‑infusion patients and at discharge.
• Dispense and supply medication, check prescription accuracy and perform ward collection and delivery rounds.
• Provide drug selection advice, counsel patients on proper medicine use and support hospital staff, carers and patients.
• Participate in quality and research activities within the pharmacy department.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA‑registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and a roadworthy vehicle for travel between sites.
• Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and excellent time‑management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work autonomously across multiple metropolitan and regional sites.
