Rehabilitation Consultant – OT or Physiotherapist

About the role

Join MedHealth’s WorkFocus team as a Rehabilitation Consultant, providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy or related services to injured employees. You will help clients regain independence and return to work while receiving strong professional support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments, identify return‑to‑work barriers and design tailored programmes.
• Perform functional, ergonomic and equipment assessments at home or workplace.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve mutually appropriate outcomes.
• Develop and monitor strategies to meet RTW benchmarks while controlling case costs.

Required profile

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel with a current vehicle and driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills and high customer‑service standards.
• Punctuality and effective time‑management.
