Registered Nurse – Aged Care (Casual)

About the role

Juniper Chrystal Halliday in Karrinyup is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its residential aged‑care team on a casual basis. You will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with health professionals and ensure person‑centred care plans are delivered safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond promptly to changes in resident health and wellbeing.
• Develop, implement and review person‑centred care plans in partnership with residents and families.
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staff, including wound and diabetes management.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
• Support AN‑ACC assessments and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Participate in infection prevention, risk management and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in an aged‑care setting (or equivalent).
• Strong clinical assessment and care‑coordination abilities.
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
• Sound understanding of medication systems.
