Regional Business Manager - Vic East

About the role

Eli Lilly ANZ is looking for a Regional Business Manager (Vic East) to lead and manage the Sales representatives in Victoria East, with a focus on cardiometabolic health. The role is based in Melbourne and involves ongoing travel. The manager leads, coaches and develops the team in implementing Lilly's marketing, sales and key account strategies so that healthcare professionals receive excellent service and sales and business objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the sales team to build a winning, customer-focused culture and deliver high standards of service, product knowledge, key account management and teamwork.
• Identify, develop and retain effective sales representatives while maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.
• Build strong key customer and key account relationships across the region.
• Analyse market insights and customer knowledge to prioritise opportunities and implement a business plan, then measure results and adjust as needed.
• Deliver strong launches of new products and meet sales and share-of-market expectations.
• Partner with marketing, medical and other functions to support brand launches and improve the quality of programs and services.
• Work with Sales Leadership, Capabilities and Learning and Development to train and develop representatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree); business or science-based qualifications preferred.
• Recent people leadership experience, particularly managing a pharmaceutical sales team.
• Track record of delivering results such as sales goals and share of market.
• Ability to lead through change with a growth mindset.
