Sales Manager, Facades and Sun Control - Victoria

About the role

A global manufacturer of architectural facade and building envelope systems, operating in Australia for more than 25 years, is recruiting a standalone Sales Manager for Victoria. The role covers louvres, sun control and technical facade systems for commercial projects, including data centres, health, education, government and major infrastructure. It is a single seat in the state, reporting to the National Sales Manager, covering specification through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Engage early with architects, facade consultants and mechanical engineers to win the specification
• Hold the specification through tender, builder and installation
• Sell the product, not only specify it
• Work with Tier 1 architects, consultants, engineers and builders

Required profile

• Specification or technical sales experience in facades, cladding, louvres, sun control, curtain wall, roofing or similar external building products
• Understanding of how a specification is won and held on a commercial project
• Comfortable selling in front of Tier 1 architects and consultants, as well as engineers and builders

What we offer

• Up to $140,000 base salary plus superannuation
• Car allowance
• Industry-leading commission, OTE of $200,000 with capacity for more
• Established territory; the seat has not been open in years
