Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that processes are followed, improvements are implemented, and quality initiatives are communicated across the ANZ organization. Based in Mascot, Sydney, the role supports team members and stakeholders to meet BSC, customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quality activities such as projects, complaints, field actions, document control, audits, management review, training, supplier management and non‑conformances.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Value Improvement Projects, and present quality reports, metrics and KPIs.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers on quality matters, managing queries and routine issue resolution.
• Investigate and manage non‑conformances, supporting corrective actions and escalation when needed.
• Utilise BSC electronic systems (Windchill, SAP, Salesforce, TrackWise) to document quality activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, STEM, Life Sciences or related discipline.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical) is highly regarded.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and audit processes.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
