Quality Associate – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

The QA Associate ensures the safety and quality of pharmaceutical components throughout manufacturing, from incoming goods to finished products. This full‑time, onsite contract role requires strong knowledge of TGA PIC guidelines and Good Documentation Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Review batch documents and support release for supply activities.
• Perform RO water sampling, conductivity testing and organise monthly environmental monitoring.
• Monitor temperature data loggers, pressure differentials and daily scale checks.
• Collect and test raw material and finished‑goods samples, manage raw‑material expiry and retest dates.
• Conduct supplier reassessment, enter test results in the ILAB system and release packaging components.
• Maintain master artwork, manage change control and update SOPs.
• Participate in internal audits, investigate deviations and CAPA, and maintain retention stores.
• Support company training programs and GMP training delivery.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a science discipline.
• 3‑5 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with TGA/GMP knowledge.
• Ability to work with all organisational levels and strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail, reliability and ability to work under pressure.
