Process Operator – Night Shift

About the role

Join Bega Group as a Process Operator on the night shift, supporting the processing, mixing and batching of milk to meet production plans at the Crestmead manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities

• Process raw materials to required specifications while balancing material availability with production requirements.
• Perform VAT planning activities using site control systems.
• Operate machinery across laboratory, processing and production environments.
• Complete quality activities, including sampling, swabbing, plating and other QA Officer tasks.
• Support food safety, GMP compliance, continuous improvement, waste reduction and risk‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the FMCG or food‑manufacturing industry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for processing, packaging and equipment issues.
• Sound knowledge of safe work practices, hazard prevention and food‑safety requirements.
• Experience in production planning or scheduling, with strong planning and organisational skills.
• A collaborative communicator who demonstrates adaptability, sound decision‑making and a commitment to delivering results.
