Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Silicon Quantum Computing is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to own end‑to‑end sourcing, negotiation and supplier performance for specialised equipment, materials and services that support its quantum hardware roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Own procurement for capital equipment, specialised materials and services across the business.
• Support negotiation of supplier contracts, pricing and service levels while maintaining a supplier framework.
• Oversee inventory and materials planning to meet technical and manufacturing timelines.
• Manage supplier risk, including due‑diligence, sole‑source dependencies and contingency planning.
• Work with Legal and Compliance on export control, sanctions and dual‑use screening.
• Partner with Finance on budget control, capex/opex approvals and spend reporting.
• Deliver cost and efficiency improvements, reporting savings and supplier performance.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, coordinate inbound logistics, freight and customs clearance.

Required profile

• Passion for technology and interest in frontier tech.
• Substantial procurement or supply chain experience in deep‑tech, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors or similar hardware environments.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and commercial judgement.
• Working knowledge of export controls, sanctions and dual‑use regulations, or ability to develop it quickly.
• Track record of embedding purchasing controls and processes in a scaling environment.
• Comfortable working across technical and commercial teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
