QSR Customer Manager

About the role

The QSR Customer Manager manages and grows strategic customer partnerships across Australia's Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and chain restaurant channel. The role helps drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthen long-term customer relationships and support innovation through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. It is based in Melbourne or Sydney, with regular travel across Australia and New Zealand required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major national QSR and chain restaurant customers
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships across customer procurement, operations and marketing teams
• Develop and execute customer account plans aligned to volume, revenue and margin objectives
• Lead commercial discussions including pricing, terms and contractual negotiations
• Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, QA, Marketing and Finance teams to deliver customer outcomes
• Support customer-specific product development, trials and menu innovation initiatives
• Prepare accurate forecasts and report on customer and commercial performance
• Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure service excellence
• Represent McCain in customer meetings, industry events and conferences

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large or complex customer accounts, ideally within FMCG or foodservice
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science or a related discipline (preferred)
• Experience working with national customers and senior stakeholders
• Flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand (about 25-35%)
