Business Development Manager - VIC

About the role

Bridgit is a non-bank lender helping Australians access property equity through its Buy Now, Sell Later solution. As Business Development Manager, you will drive new business opportunities and grow Bridgit's network of mortgage brokers, building long-term partnerships, working with aggregator partners and advising brokers on loan structures.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of mortgage brokers, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with aggregator partners to maximise opportunities and align on mutual goals.
• Advise brokers on loan scenarios and lending structures, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Represent Bridgit at broker and aggregator functions to showcase its value proposition and expand the network.
• Achieve settlement volume targets and agreed KPIs while keeping customer service exceptional.
• Track and report on sales performance, aligned with company objectives.
• Partner with internal teams to streamline processes and improve the broker experience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated background in residential mortgage lending and sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the broker industry.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, credit criteria and lending structures.
• Relationship-first mindset, able to build and nurture meaningful partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, confident in group presentations.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused, with attention to detail and autonomy; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Current non-restrictive Australian driver's licence.
