Sales & Customer Service Consultant

About the role

Smaart Recruitment is recruiting, on behalf of one of Australia's leading telecommunications companies, a Sales & Customer Service Consultant for its expanding business centre in Dandenong. The role sits within a successful, award-winning sales and support team and is based in a central location accessible from East and South-East Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with existing customers and warm leads
• Make outbound calls to arrange regular check-in meetings for the Senior Sales Team
• Handle general product enquiries
• Support a diverse portfolio of small-to-medium-sized businesses by recommending tailored technology solutions

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, account management or business development
• Experience in the Telco or ICT industry is highly regarded
• Self-driven and confident working independently across a regional territory
• Ability to give expert guidance on tech solutions to achieve business outcomes

Required skills

• Strong relationship-building and networking skills (BNI experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities

What we offer

• Full time permanent position with regular office hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Salary of $65,000 to $70,000 plus superannuation and commission (OTE $100,000)
