About the role
headspace is seeking registered psychologists to deliver private‑practice services to young people aged 12‑25 across its Narre Warren and Pakenham sites. Immediate referrals are available and you can choose the days and hours that suit you, Monday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred counselling and psychological strategies to young clients.
- Deliver therapy to clients who have already been assessed and are ready to engage.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses and other clinicians.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a psychologist.
- Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) services.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work visa.
Required skills
- Ability to use web‑based clinical software (provided with IT support).
- Professional indemnity insurance and appropriate compliance documentation (police check, Working with Children Check, COVID‑19 vaccination evidence).
