Psychologist - Child and Adolescent Referrals

About the role

A client is seeking a psychologist to take on strong child and adolescent referrals while keeping a balanced adult caseload. The role suits a registered psychologist who wants both autonomy and a supportive environment, with consistent referral flow and regular peer connection.

Key responsibilities

• Treat children and adolescents alongside adult clients, with a caseload ranging from mild to complex cases including trauma, severe mental health and addiction.
• Work a minimum of two days per week, with clinic hours from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
• Choose between employee or contractor engagement; contractors receive a 60/40 split of the hourly rate.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a psychologist.
• Current Working with Children Check and commitment to child-safe practice.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number, or willingness to obtain one.

What we offer

• $47 to $55 per hour as an employee, or a 60/40 split as a contractor, with clear earnings.
• Informal peer supervision and up to $1,000 professional development allowance for employees, with support in modalities such as EMDR and clinical hypnosis.
• An upskilling pathway in neurodevelopmental assessment.
• A team of 11 psychologists with varied specialisms, and a mixed referral stream including Medicare, NDIS, TAC, DVA and WorkSafe.
• On-site admin support from 9am to 6pm and an experienced practice manager, plus two clinic locations with on-site parking.
