Project Manager – Healthcare Technology Installations

About the role

As a Project Manager at Stryker, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of operating theatre and healthcare technology installations across hospitals in Australia. You will work on‑site, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of operating theatre and healthcare infrastructure projects, from planning through to handover.
• Coordinate contractors, hospital stakeholders, internal teams and suppliers, and be present on‑site during critical phases.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, risks and milestones, identifying issues early and developing practical solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, regulatory and site requirements.
• Provide regular updates and clear communication to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing installation, construction, technical or capital equipment projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solution‑focused, able to balance multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on‑site and coordinating trades, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to get involved hands‑on when required.

Required skills

• Project management methodology (e.g., scheduling, risk management).
• Experience with construction or technical installations in a healthcare environment.
