Project Manager - Construction

About the role

Multiplex, a construction company, is looking for a Project Manager for a full-time, permanent position based in Adelaide. The role leads the delivery of complex construction projects across design, programme, commercial, safety and quality, working with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the project in line with design, time, cost and quality requirements.
• Lead all aspects of project delivery and manage commercial and financial performance.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and performance.
• Act as a key escalation point for the wider project team.
• Maintain strong client relationships and give clear direction to project teams.
• Mentor and develop team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering complex commercial construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing industrial relations matters in a construction environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, techniques and sequencing.
• Commercial management and contract administration across the project lifecycle.
• Managing project costs, budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Client and stakeholder management, and resolving complex project issues.
• Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant WHS/OH&S legislation.
