Project Leader – Architecture (Sydney)

About the role

FK is seeking an experienced Project Leader to join its Sydney studio. You will guide architectural projects from concept through construction across residential, cultural, commercial and civic sectors, working within a collaborative, future‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from design inception to construction completion.
• Coordinate internal teams, external consultants and client stakeholders.
• Maintain design intent throughout all project phases.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables with clarity.
• Contribute to documentation, quality assurance processes and delivery excellence.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning.
• Support studio‑wide improvements, systems and project strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in architectural practice with proven project leadership.
• Registration as an Architect in Australia or on the pathway to registration.
• Strong design and technical skills across documentation and delivery.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach to leading teams and solving problems.
• Passion for inclusive, high‑quality design and collaborative studio environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
• Capability with Adobe Creative Suite.
