Project Finance Specialist

About the role

The Project Finance Specialist supports project teams in delivering financially successful projects. Working remotely, you will provide day‑to‑day project accounting, monitor costs and revenues, and ensure compliance with financial policies across a portfolio of small to medium‑sized projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate project accounting services for multiple concurrent projects.
• Monitor, record, and allocate project costs while ensuring correct revenue recognition.
• Maintain lifecycle accounting in the ERP, track budgets, validate invoicing, and reconcile payables and receivables.
• Partner with Project Managers to establish and update project budgets and advise on contract modifications.
• Assist with subcontractor set‑ups, agreements, and purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with subcontractor policies.
• Prepare billing, initiate invoicing requests, and follow up on late payments.
• Monitor key financial indicators, resolve project exceptions promptly, and escalate issues when needed.
• Verify contract and change‑order details, interpreting billing requirements and subcontract terms.

Required profile

• Experience in project accounting and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ability to navigate project‑related modules.
• Knowledge of subcontractor policies and contract administration.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with project managers and procurement teams.
