Project Architect

About the role

We are a national architecture practice expanding in Sydney and are looking for an experienced Project Architect to lead hospitality and retail projects from design development through to construction documentation and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the documentation and delivery of hospitality and retail projects from design development to construction documentation and contract administration.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation and detailed construction packages.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest design and technical standards.
• Mentor junior team members and support them throughout project delivery.
• Attend client meetings, consultant coordination meetings and site inspections as required.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout each project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Registered Architect or experienced Project Architect with proven project delivery experience.
• Strong background delivering hospitality, retail or commercial projects.
• Excellent technical documentation and detailing abilities.
• Ability to manage projects independently within a small, collaborative team.
• Confident in coordinating clients, consultants and contractors.
• Solid understanding of Australian Building Codes, NCC and relevant standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (highly regarded).
