Project Architect

About the role

An established national architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its Sydney studio. You will work on complex, high‑profile projects across health, education, workplace and mixed‑use sectors, taking ownership from design development through to construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects through design development, documentation and construction phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams to achieve integrated design outcomes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Resolve technical design challenges with practical, commercially‑considered solutions.
• Mentor graduate and intermediate architects, fostering a positive team culture.
• Apply thorough knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and local planning requirements.
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Architect (or working towards registration) with approximately 7–12 years of professional experience.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction methodologies, the NCC and relevant standards.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
