Product Lead, Digital

About the role

Containers for Change (COEX), the not-for-profit organisation running Queensland's Containers for Change scheme, is looking for an experienced Product Lead, Digital to join its Customer, Product & Design team. Reporting to the General Manager Customer, Product & Design, you will own a portfolio of digital products and initiatives across the full lifecycle, working alongside three other product leads. The role is based in Brisbane CBD, hybrid (4 days office, 1 day remote), permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products in your portfolio, from discovery and requirements through to delivery, launch and continuous improvement.
• Deliver a new digital claims and compliance portal for material recovery facilities, working closely with an external development partner.
• Manage the backlog and deliver continuous enhancements to Container Collect, the home collection service, after its rebuilt platform launch.
• Contribute to work on the website, member portal and other digital platforms.
• Develop roadmaps, delivery plans, priorities and backlogs, and turn business and user needs into requirements and user stories.
• Manage external technology and development partners and work with internal teams such as Network Delivery, Recycling and Customer Experience.
• Identify delivery risks and manage issues, dependencies and priorities, and lead product readiness including documentation, communication, training and handover.
• Use data and performance measures to inform product decisions.

Required profile

• Ideally 3-5 years' experience as a Product Manager, Product Lead or Product Owner delivering digital products and technology platforms.
• Understanding of product mechanics: discovery, requirements, user stories, roadmaps, prioritisation and delivery.
• Experience with third-party developers or technology vendors is particularly valuable.
• Background in operational technology or digital products in logistics, transport, delivery, marketplaces, claims or compliance is helpful but not essential.
• Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, analytical ability and familiarity with Agile.
