Senior Customer Success Manager - APJ

About the role

Chainguard provides hardened, secure, production-ready builds of open source software used by engineers and AI agents, serving Fortune 500 companies such as Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, OpenAI and Snowflake. As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will be the post-sales primary point of contact for enterprise customers, owning their onboarding, implementation and adoption. You will work closely with Solutions Architects, Technical Support, Product Management, Engineering and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical onboarding of new customers, partnering with pre-sales and post-sales teams to define an onboarding plan
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders from technicians to CISOs and work with sales to renew and expand accounts while reducing churn
• Collaborate with the Edu team to train customers on product features, best practices and security principles
• Develop hands-on technical knowledge of Chainguard and its industry trends and new features
• Advocate for customer needs internally and collaborate with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to resolve issues quickly

Required profile

• 5+ years in enterprise, customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, or a mix of those plus Sales, Solutions Engineering or Technical Support
• Active NV1 clearance with the ability to obtain NV2 for the federal book of business
• Domain knowledge of supply chain security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, containers, regulatory compliance, vulnerability management or the SDLC
• Autonomous ownership of a customer portfolio, entrepreneurial mindset and strong emotional intelligence

• Early-stage startup experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Linux, containers and security domains
