Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

The Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst will support significant changes across the supply chain, providing analytical support to Procurement Category Managers and key stakeholders such as Estimators. Based at Metricon's Notting Hill head office, you will assist with market approaches, negotiations and supplier agreement implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Price File and Master Item Database, ensuring quality control.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers, reviewing trial periods and administering supplier allocations.
• Produce category‑specific analysis reports and monthly performance reports against KPI targets.
• Support the Contracts Administration Manager with generation and maintenance of supplier agreements.
• Deliver nominated projects on time and to agreed standards.

Required profile

• Qualified in a business or related discipline with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with well‑developed communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, prioritising tasks for maximum effectiveness.
• Understanding of procurement processes and experience with distribution, logistics and forecasting systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Windows environment.
