Procurement Officer

About the role

AVADA Group Ltd is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to centrally manage and coordinate procurement activities across its Australian and New Zealand operations. Reporting to the Group Manager Fleet, Property and Procurement, the role supports cost-effective purchasing while ensuring safety, compliance and strong supplier governance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving and value-enhancement opportunities.
• Coordinate procurement of fleet, equipment, fuel and corporate goods.
• Establish and maintain contracts, preferred-supplier arrangements and pricing schedules.
• Collaborate with HSEQ and Operations to source safe, compliant, fit-for-purpose equipment.
• Educate internal stakeholders on procurement policies, systems and compliance.
• Support fleet schedules and ensure spend aligns with approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate procurement systems, supplier data and spend visibility.
• Develop and maintain the Annual Procurement Plan.
• Manage sourcing processes including RFQs, RFTs and RFPs.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Business, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing and contract management.
• Experience in fleet, logistics, construction or operational environments.
