Private Wealth Assistant

About the role

Ord Minnett is seeking a highly organised Private Wealth Assistant to support its Private Wealth team. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, work closely with advisers and branch managers, and gain exposure to wealth management and investment markets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email and in‑person.
• Prepare, distribute and follow up on client correspondence, documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client records and files.
• Assist advisers with daily trading administration, client meetings and trade follow‑up activities.
• Support investment applications, settlements and portfolio administration.
• Collaborate with advisers, branch leadership and support teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Strong administration and client service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, team‑oriented approach with a commitment to exceptional client service.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
