About the role
Marsh is looking for an experienced Principal Broker to join its Commercial team in Sydney. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks and large new‑business tenders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of revenue‑generating accounts while delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities, including new‑logo and organic expansion.
- Lead, plan and implement renewal and broking strategies, ensuring effective account retention and defence.
- Participate actively in claim‑related matters and track emerging opportunities.
Required profile
- Minimum 4+ years of commercial broking experience managing corporate portfolios.
- Proven ability to generate new business and a strong market presence in General Insurance.
- Extensive knowledge of risks and insurance products across key industry sectors.
- Strong network for new‑business generation and a proactive, client‑focused attitude.
