Presales Consultant

About the role

Finbourne is seeking a Pre‑Sales Solution Architect to join its growing team in Sydney. You will work closely with the Sales team, using a consultative approach to design and demonstrate technology‑driven solutions for asset managers, hedge funds and other buy‑side clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver product demos and workshops for technical and non‑technical audiences, creating bespoke demos with Python, SQL and Claude Code.
• Lead architectural discussions, capture business requirements and design future‑state solutions on the Finbourne platform.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to refine solutions and provide feedback for product road‑maps.
• Provide technical expertise, train Sales colleagues and act as the primary advisor to prospective clients.

Required profile

• Strong presentation skills for in‑person and online demos.
• Experience in financial services, comfortable discussing concepts with senior executives (COO, CTO).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
