Porter/Valet Attendant

About the role

The Tasman Luxury Collection Hotel is seeking a Porter/Valet Attendant to create exceptional first impressions for guests, handling luggage, valet parking and escorting guests to their rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and departure with warm, professional service.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner.
• Assist guests with luggage delivery, collection and storage.
• Escort guests to rooms and introduce hotel facilities.
• Provide accurate information about the hotel, local attractions and transport options.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance, porte‑cochère and lobby areas.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments for seamless arrivals and departures.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for hospitality and outstanding guest experiences.
• Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, customer service or valet role (preferred).
• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence, confidence driving both automatic and manual vehicles (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience using the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
• Valid unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
