Plant Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our ANFO plant in Kalgoorlie, supporting blasting operations across Western Australia’s mining industry. The role involves safe manufacturing and distribution of explosive products within a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment to produce ANFO and emulsion explosives.
• Load and unload raw materials and product deliveries, completing required documentation and checks.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and routine production monitoring.
• Perform pre‑start inspections, hazard identification and incident reporting.
• Follow operating procedures, report issues and maintain safe, reliable plant operations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and contribute to overall site performance.

Required profile

• Commitment to a safe, inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Clearance.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (LF licence).
