Condition Monitoring Technician

About the role

Join a leading gold mining operation as a Condition Monitoring Technician at the world‑class Kanowna Belle mine. You will support the maintenance team by ensuring equipment reliability through systematic monitoring, lubrication, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled condition monitoring tasks on fixed plant equipment in line with quality standards and timelines.
• Record job details during execution and capture data in the Pronto system.
• Escalate issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor and maintain a clean lubrication shed.
• Raise and scope new work requests, ensuring all supporting documents, drawings and photos are attached.
• Log actual work hours, enter work history notes and close work orders.
• Return physical documentation to the supervisor for record keeping.
• Order parts and materials for priority work orders as directed.
• Assist during shutdowns while complying with the Work Health & Safety Act 2020 and related regulations.
• Conduct regular lubrication of fixed and mobile equipment and manage site lubrication supplies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the mining industry, specifically in condition monitoring of fixed plant equipment.
• Current WA “C” class driver’s licence.
• Good communication skills and flexibility to adopt new asset‑management procedures.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and undertake relevant safety training.
