Pharmacy Dispensing Consultant

About the role

Join BD as a Pharmacy Dispensing Consultant on a casual basis, providing onboarding, training and on‑site support for BD Rowa pharmacy automation systems across Brisbane and Queensland. The role is ideal for healthcare professionals seeking 20–30 hours of meaningful work per month.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured and informal training sessions to pharmacy staff on BD Rowa systems.
• Teach correct workflow, safe operation, and best‑practice use of automation equipment.
• Demonstrate system features, benefits and provide hands‑on support during transition periods.
• Support basic troubleshooting, create training materials, guides and SOPs, and capture feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Background in pharmacy, nursing, dispensing, healthcare education or similar customer‑facing healthcare role.
• Strong communication and people skills with confidence presenting to small groups or one‑on‑one.
• Ability to travel across Queensland and provide proactive, patient support.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and general software use).
• Good organisation, reliability and follow‑through.
