People & Culture Operations Analyst

About the role

Viva Energy is seeking a proactive People & Culture Operations Analyst to join its People Operations team. In this hands‑on role you will support onboarding, off‑boarding, HRIS, contract management, remuneration, benefits and system implementations across a diverse business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the voice of People Operations, handling queries via the People inbox and guiding employees to optimal outcomes.
• Own the end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding experience, ensuring consistency, compliance and accurate reporting.
• Provide advice on People & Culture policies and processes, and maintain up‑to‑date employee and position data for reporting.
• Partner closely with Payroll to ensure seamless people processes.
• Lead updates to the HRIS, contributing to more efficient ways of working.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or strong hands‑on experience in People & Culture.
• Approachable, organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a solutions‑focused, analytical mindset.
• Full Australian working rights; visa sponsorship is not available.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or HROnboard.
