People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

The People & Culture Coordinator will support recruitment, onboarding and on‑site HR services for the Plane Creek Mill and Sarina Distillery, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retained in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from job ads to candidate selection.
• Partner with site leaders on workforce planning and operational staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, systems and documentation.
• Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance processes and general HR administration.
• Promote a positive workplace culture by advising leaders on day‑to‑day people matters.

Required profile

• Demonstrated recruitment experience, preferably in heavy industry, agriculture or manufacturing, or a degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Strong experience sourcing and engaging talent in fast‑paced operational environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with leaders and candidates.
• Passion for people and ability to match candidates to role and culture.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
