P&C HRIS (Workday & SAP) Coordinator

About the role

Join the People & Culture team at Heidelberg Materials Australia as a P&C HRIS Coordinator, focusing on Workday and SAP systems to support over 4,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee and organisational data across Workday and SAP.
• Process and audit employee lifecycle transactions such as hires, transfers, promotions, organisational changes and terminations.
• Support system administration, testing, upgrades and enhancements for Workday and SAP.
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide timely assistance to managers, employees and People & Culture stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards and data analytics.
• Support payroll and finance teams through accurate data management and system integration activities.
• Participate in HR system projects, process improvements and change initiatives.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements and data privacy obligations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HRIS, HR Operations, HR Coordinator or People & Culture systems role.
• Experience working with Workday and/or SAP systems.
• Strong data management, reporting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
