Operations Area Manager

About the role

Amazon is hiring experienced Operations Area Managers for its Customer Fulfillment team in Jandakot. You will lead a team of Section Managers and their direct reports across key areas such as receive, stow, pick, pack or ship, driving continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, accuracy and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Operations Section Managers and their teams.
• Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards and culture on‑site.
• Set performance goals to meet customer promise expectations and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to meet business objectives.
• Partner with management to establish quality control standards.
• Review work forecasts and determine daily production requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or large‑scale retail management.
• Direct management experience with sizable teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, including deep dive analysis of complex processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting and implementing process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
