Occupational Therapist – Allied Health Team

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s allied health team at the Werribee clinic, delivering therapy to children, young people and families across Australia. You will work across clinic, home, school and community settings, contributing to life‑changing outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and complete appropriate assessments for each client and manage a discipline‑specific caseload, including complex cases.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals, delivering services in various settings.
• Collaborate with allied health team members, develop specialised programs such as group therapy and parent workshops, and maintain strict privacy and confidentiality.
• Record treatment notes within 24 hours, produce high‑quality reports for stakeholders, and ensure documentation meets ESA standards.
• Align therapy plans with NDIS funding, review NDIS plans, and support accurate invoicing.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in solution‑focused therapy and early intervention.
• Strong ability to engage with children, families and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisational and observational/report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with AHPRA and other required NDIS and child‑safety checks.
