Nurse Educator – Simulation

About the role

The Nurse Educator – Simulation will support professional development for nursing and midwifery staff across West Moreton Health. The role designs, implements and evaluates education and simulation modalities aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Champion nursing and midwifery capability frameworks.
• Design, deliver and evaluate simulation‑based learning across multiple sites.
• Embed clinical education leadership within service models.
• Collaborate with the Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Service (NMERS) to enhance patient safety and staff satisfaction.

Required profile

• Current registration or membership with Ahpra.
• Proof of vaccination as required by Health Employment Directive NO.01/16.
• Demonstrated ability to support workforce retention and professional development.
