Rehabilitation Counsellor

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the Recovre team. The position is based in Brisbane (with options for Cairns or Rockhampton) and follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders to support safe, sustainable return to work.
• Identify barriers to return to work after illness or injury and develop problem‑solving plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including vocational, pre‑employment, activities of daily living, workplace and ergonomic evaluations.
• Manage case files, reporting and coordinate with a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Travel to client sites while maintaining flexible work‑from‑home and office arrangements.

Required profile

• Full ASORC membership or AHPRA registration.
• Preference for prior experience in rehabilitation counselling.

Required skills

• Strong collaborative abilities within multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Experience conducting diverse rehabilitation and return‑to‑work assessments.
• Flexibility to work across client sites, from home and office locations.
